November 2 (Thursday) Japanese Gardens @ Maymont RVA (C/3)
Barbara Stewart (bleafstewart@gmail.com or 271-4631) Maymont’s Japanese Gardens are especially beautiful with the autumn colors. We will meet in the free parking lot on Tredegar St. between the 2nd St. connector and the Lee Bridge near The American Civil War Center (Tredegar). Hike the North Bank Trail to the Gardens, linger to explore, or just linger, and return. The hike is approximately 7 miles and has some small hills and uneven terrain. Bring water, snacks. Lunch post hike is an option. Meet at 9:00 am.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
