Bill Tennant (Willyten10@aol.com or 282-0590) Here’s one we haven’t done in a while. It’s in the Southern District of Shenandoah National Park so it won’t take all day to get there. It starts with a ridge walk with some nice views then descends to Big Run Creek. We walk along Big Run then pick up Rocky Mountain Run as we head back up to Skyline Drive. At 10.1 miles, 2100 feet of elevation and a few rock hopping water crossings, it’s not a beginner’s hike but it should be a nice walk in the Park on a fine Spring day. Contact Bill for time and meeting place.
