March 30 (Monday) Ragged Mountain Natural Area Charlottesville (C/3)
Howard Davis (howardsuedavis@juno.com or 434-964-1242). Howard will lead this hike to the newly reopened Ragged Mountain Natural Area. The new dam is completed and the Lake is beginning to fill with the planned Trail System about half completed. After hiking at Ragged Mountain we will visit the nearby Virginia Division of Forestry and hike a portion of the Rivanna River Trail. Limited to 12. For details contact Howard.

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
