Take a break with LOOSE GRAVEL, this group wrote a beautiful ballad about Humpback.  Both Old Time and Bluegrass styles.
 
Read the Declaration of Independence, recognize Veterans.  Relax with SUNNYSIDE, a very traditional mountain string band.  The band plays a lot of music from the 1850's through 1890's.  Old time music in Carter family style.
Humpback Rocks Mountain Farm is a demonstration homestead portraying mountain life from the 1890s time period.  The visitor center and farm area staffed from 9 AM to 5 PM - 7 days a week during the summer, offering free guided tours of the farm, cultural demonstrations and Blue Ridge Parkway information.  The visitor center offers a bookstore and features exhibits about Appalachian Mountain life. 
Ranger talks start at 10 AM lasting 1 - 2 hours.
Band plays from 2 PM - 4 PM.
