Ann Lankey (804-338-1771) and Tim Gilbert (804-304-8841) We will meet at the Dogwood Dell amphitheater at 9:50am. The hike will be 4-5 miles at an easy pace. We will go to the Pump House, cross the railroad tracks and use a foot path on the river to Texas Beach. We will see murals on the stairway leading over the tracks to the North Bank Trail. We will exit at Hampton Street and walk through Maymont where there are restrooms. We will see the Italian and Japanese Gardens and hike through the animal exhibits of Maymont where we will then exit on the West side and go back to the start. Although most of the trail is level, some segments are rough with some climbs. There are no restrooms at the start. Bring water.
