Join me for hiking approximately 5 miles along Beaver Lake, Ground Pine Path, and Big Poplar trails. We will hike a clockwise route that provides the most challenge. If the ground is wet then the trails and rock stairway can be slippery in which case hiking poles can be helpful. The park entrance is on Beach Road (Rt. 655) 4.1 miles west of Rt. 10 (Ironbridge Rd.). There is a $7 parking fee and having exact change would be a good idea in case the contact station is closed. Meet at 9:50 by the restrooms near the swimming pool.
