Art Ritter (o2behiking@yahoo.com) We’ll need two cars minimum for this 11 mile hike up the AT. We will start at the South River Falls Picnic Area after setting up shuttles, and hike north on the AT to Milam Gap. Along the way, we’ll take a short detour up Lewis Mountain, and folks can also optionally do the tough rock scramble at Bearfence and its 360 degree views. At the end, we will have to shuttle cars and drivers before heading for home. Contact Art if interested and for meeting details. This hike is limited to 12 hikers (3 cars).
