April 13 (Saturday) South River Falls (B-2)

  • 13 Apr 2019

Bill Tennant (Willyten10@aol.com  or 282-0590)  This hike includes a nice waterfall in  a secluded glen, an old cemetery, a church school ruin, lunch at an old PATC cabin, then a nice walk home on 3.5 miles of the AT.  At 10.4 miles and 1800 feet of elevation, it's not a beginner's hike, but is well within the range of most hikers.  This is Hike No. 19 in the book, Circuit Hikes in Shenandoah National Park.  Come join the fun.  Contact Bill for start time and meeting location.
