David Olli (864-1461, dolli@smv.org)  Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend the second of five 2019 general meetings in the first floor Discovery Room of the Science Museum of Virginia.  President David Grimes officially kicks things off 7:00 pm but feel free to arrive any time after 6 pm to chat with members. The guest speaker is Bob Schamerhorn, Nature Photographer, iPhotoBirds presenting "Birds of Prey".  Experience the beauty and majesty of these apex predators. This program includes some of our most exciting, fierce, and perhaps most interesting North American predatory birds which includes: Hawks, Owls, Falcons, Eagles and even Vultures: “Experience the beauty and majesty of these apex predators. Focuses primarily on our mid-Atlantic raptor species, with information on food, migration, adaptations and identification. Learn about some of their protection history, survival struggles, and successes. Includes stories and discussion of the characteristics of these amazing birds. Presentation displayed in colorful award winning photography, with HD Video clips, audio samples, presented by National Award Winning Nature Photographer, Bob Schamerhorn.
