Weather permitting, Jim (804 513-0365, j.m.henry@ verizon.net) and Meredith Henry will be leading a five mile hike in Deep Run Park in western Henrico County on Wednesday, January 30. In the event that weather conditions are such that cancellation may be necessary it will be so noted on the ODATC website by 8:30 AM that morning. We will meet at 9:50 am in the Deep Run Recreation Center parking lot, the first left after entering the park off Ridgefield Parkway. The hike includes an inner loop of paved paths and an outside loop that travels through woods with unlevel, heavily rooted terrain. Be sure to wear good footgear as the ground may be very wet! Restrooms are available. Lunch as a group at a local restaurant is an option following the hike.
