Bill Tennant (282-0590 or Willyten10@aol.com). This is a nice walk in the woods on a cold winter day. The Albemarle County Park is 480 acres, located just south of Charlottesville about one hour west of Richmond. This hike will be about 8-9 miles of gentle ups and downs around the lake with the ruins of a few old homesteads to add a little interest. Pack a lunch and we'll eat in the beach pavilion overlooking the lake. Contact Bill for time and meeting place.
