The next work day on the ODATC section of the Appalachian Trail is scheduled for Saturday, April 21st. We will meet at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor's Center and be ready to work at 9:30. Wear substantial shoes or boots, long pants, and bring gloves. Dress for the weather. As this is an all day event, pack a lunch and be sure to bring plenty to drink. As it is starting to get warm be sure to hydrate. If you plan to participate, please let me know and include your carpool location if you want to share a ride. We should have two car pool opportunities listed below:
1. Park and Ride located at N. Parham Rd. and Fordson Road at 7:15AM
2. Park and Ride located at Oilville Road between I-64 and Broad Street (Rt 250) at 7:30 AM.
