Mark Dimmick (804) 400-3108 or mmdimmick@hotmail.com . Tentative plans are to hike the Knob Mountain - Jeremy's Run Loop in the Northern Section of Shenandoah National Park. Hike is 12.6 Miles and is rated A-1 due to several steep climbs. Meet at the Rockville-Manakin park and ride just west of RT 288 on I 64 at 7:30am. We will stop at the Gordonsville Valero on the way out. Suggested gas fee is $10.00 Please note that due to fires raging in the northern section of the park, we may have to change the route. Possible optons would be Hazel River Falls and Cave. No matter which hike we do, expect 12+ miles and steep climbs.
