Hank Harman (804-347-3744 or hharman8@verizon.net) This 7.3 mile hike is strenuous if one adds the extra 0.6 miles and 500 ft climb over Hawksbill Mountain, highest AT segment in the Park. Bring lunch and water. Hank may also try to get a PATC cabin the nights of the 29th and 30th. Call Hank for more info and carpool details.(Suggested carpool donation $15)

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
