Appalachian Trail in SNP – Bearfence to South River (C/3)

Hank Harman (804-347-3744 or hharman8@verizon.net) This 6.2 "low moderate" hike continues Hank Harman's traverse of Shenandoah National Park.  Total climbing is 700 feet and descending 1,000 feet.  A 1.5 mile hike down to the South River Falls is possible if time and weather permit.  Bring lunch and water.
