October 16-20 (Monday-Friday) AT hike in Northeast Tennessee

Lisa Bagby (m.lisa.g.bagby@gmail.com or 804-350-3005)

This is a slack packing trip. The hostel where we would be staying offers shuttle service to and from six trailheads on the AT.

Where: Erwin, TN on I-26. Stay at hostel Cantarroso Farm and Apiary. Oza's Cabin has two full beds and an XL bunk bed. Cabin includes electric composting toilet, AC/heat, shower with towels and toiletries, microwave, fridge, toaster oven, coffee maker with free coffee and tea, free wifi, covered porch, picnic table, chairs,  grills, fire pit and firewood. Hostel is located on the banks of the Nolichucky River.

We would leave Richmond on Monday and return home on Friday. Three days of hiking. Of course, if you don't feel like hiking one day, you can slumber in the hammock next to the river. Prime autumnal viewing.

Cost: The stay in the cabin will be around $35 per person per night. There are charges for the shuttle service which we can split among us. Cost for fuel. Logistics: Trip is limited to six people. Deadline for committing to Lisa is September 22.
