September 21-23 (Thursday to Saturday) 3 Day Spruce Knob, WV Mike Shelor (trailguymike@aol.com or 804.337.7076). This trip will begin atop Spruce Knob, West Virignia’s highest peak. We will hike down to Seneca Creek establishing a base camp there. We’ll day hike Friday and hike out on Saturday and return to Richmond. As this is in a wilderness area, the trip will be limited to 8 participants. Contact Mike for details

The ODATC Mission

The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.

The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.

Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
