March 10 (Friday) McCormick Gap to the Calf Mountain Shelter - AT Art Ritter (o2behiking@yahoo.com) The hike is about 4.5 miles each way, and is kind of like a roller coaster, climbing and descending a couple of low mountains. There is a good spring at the shelter so no need to carry much water on this one. I will bring my stove, and anyone who wants can have hot tea, chocolate, or coffee with lunch (BYO mug, spoon, and drink). We will meet at the I-64 Exit 173 Rockville park and ride. Let me know if you are joining the hike
