Virginia Historic Garden Week is a once a year event and sometimes a once in a lifetime opportunity to see unforgettable private gardens and beautiful homes at the peak of Spring color. Westover Hills boasts one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Richmond across the James River. There are five tour homes along Riverside Drive. Experience a vista the residents of Westover Hills enjoy daily. The Maymont Dooley Mansion is also included with the ticket price but not included in my city stroll.
Ticket sales benefit the Virginia Garden Club restorations and are $45 pp in advance, $50 the day of the tour but only from tour headquarters at Prince Arthur and Riverside Drive.
