Join the 2nd Annual Garlic Mustard Challenge!
Join the challenge. The 2nd Annual Garlic Mustard Challenge is on. Round one is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 13th. Peggy Combs and friends will be gathering at the Visitor's Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway (between mile post 5 and 6) at 9:30 AM. Conner McBane, Natural Resource Specialist with ATC will be joining her. This year there is a trophy at stake. The club that pulls the most is awarded this (to be coveted) prize. We will also be hosting a garlic mustard pull in conjunction with our May work maintenance trip on Saturday, May 21st . No reason you cannot attend both! Please call Peggy at 804-358-4951 (or email at peggyc@lewisginter.org) if you plan to attend or have any questions.
