Meet at the park and ride on Rt 60 at Bottoms Bridge. We will car pool to Newport News Park and hike 8-10 miles around the lake and through the woods. This is a flat easy walk. A good opportunity for hikers to extend their endurance. There will be places to short cut back to the parking lot if necessary. Bring lunch and water.
