This month's AT section hike will begin at Rattlesnake Point on the Skyline Drive; go past the Range View Cabin, Elkwallow Picnic Grounds and Byrd's Nest No. 4 Shelter to Beahm's Gap. Total climb is 800 feet while descent is 1,200 feet.
