March 23 (Monday) Emerald Pond – DAY HIKE – Northern Shenandoah Valley (C/3)

8 mile Day Hike in the Massanutten Mountain Range. The hike begins in New Market Gap on US 211, has an elevation change of 1700 feet, and includes scenic views of the northern Shenandoah Valley and the wonderful Emerald Pond.
The ODATC Mission
The construction and maintenance of foot trails for hikers, including the Appalachian Trail between Reids Gap and Rockfish Gap.
The provision of excursions on such trails or other areas.
Offering educational activities related to the need for preserving the great outdoors.
